Coronavirus update for South Asian countries

A total of 329,739 people died worldwide including eight South Asian countries from the coronavirus till Sunday, according to latest data from worldometer.

The coronavirus or COVID-19 has affected 213 countries and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances.

Here are all affected South Asian countries:

In India,  112,442 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 3,438 people died and 45,422 people have recovered.

In Pakistan, 48,091 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 1017 people died and 14,155 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 28,511 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 408 people have died and 5,602 people have recovered.

In Afghanistan, 8,145 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 187 people have died and 930 people have recovered.

Sri Lanka, 1028 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 9 people have died and 584 people have recovered.

In Maldives, 1,186 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, four people died and 91 have recovered from the disease.

In Nepal, 427 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 2 has died and 45 patients have recovered.

In Bhutan, 21 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 6 people have recovered. No death from the virus was reported in the country. (Web Desk)
