Pakistan Govt announces Rs 10 billion subsidies to rein in inflation

Pak Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday approved a relief package of Rs 10 billion to stabilise the price of basic commodities as well as constituted a team to regularly monitor and control the prevailing inflation.

Rupees 2bn per month to be provided to USC for next five months to give subsidy on wheat, sugar, rice, grains and edible ghee
2,000 Youth Stores, 12 cash and carry stores to be opened across country
* Govt to set up 100 more langar khanas during current year.
